This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website, operated by Akira Foods International Pvt. Ltd..
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you send an enquiry or requirement form we receive what you type: name, company, country, email, phone or WhatsApp number, the products and quantities you ask about, and your message.
- Reviews. When you write a review we receive your rating, review, name, company, country and email. Your email is used only to confirm the review and is never shown. With your consent we may show your name, company, country and review on this website after checking it.
- WhatsApp. If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.
- Your browser. A few small preferences are kept in your own browser (local storage): your cookie choice, whether the catalogue page-turn sound is on, and any enquiry list you started. They are not sent to us.
How we use it
Enquiry details are emailed to our sales team so we can quote and reply. We do not sell or rent personal data and do not use it for advertising. Repeated or automated submissions are filtered to protect the form from spam.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets no advertising cookies. If analytics is switched on, a banner asks first, and Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose “Accept” (IP addresses are anonymised). You can change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Services we use
- Website hosting (Vercel). Like any web host, it briefly records technical request data such as your IP address to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
- Email delivery (Resend). Passes your enquiry from the website to our inbox.
- Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), when switched on. Checks that an enquiry comes from a person, using technical signals from your browser. It does not read what you type in the form.
- Enquiry backup (Google Sheets), when switched on. A copy of each enquiry is saved in our own Google account so that none is lost if email fails.
- Google Maps. The map on the Contact page loads from Google when you scroll to it; Google may then set its own cookies.
- WhatsApp. Opens only when you choose to message us there.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them and for our ordinary business records, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where it applies, the GDPR.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS, and enquiry data is sent directly to our mailbox rather than stored in a website database. Form input is checked on our server and repeated or automated submissions are limited.
